TAKEOFF:
Hovedstart mot Øst - SørØst. Tilrettelagt for luftsport. Vær varsom på rotor ved takeoff, ikke slipp styreliner.
Alternativ start mot Vest ved helipad. Stupstart, minimum pp3/spg3.

På termiske dager anbefales paraglidere å bruke vardestarten, se kart.
SPG bes være ekstra varsome ved termiske dager.

I LUFTA:
• Gjør deg godt kjent med hvor kablene til pendelbana går. Hold trygg avstand til kabler, bygninger og installasjoner.
• Flyging under kablene og nær kabinene er ikke tillatt.
• Hold trygg avstand til via ferrata og via ferrata-brua, flyging under brua er ikke lov. Uroe ikke de som klatrar i via ferrata.
• Vis hensyn ved topplanding og ha god klaring til publikum. Landing på taket av Hoven Restaurant og nær inntil installasjonene eller gangveiene der «publikum» ferdes er ikke tillatt.

LANDING:
• Det er etablert landing i Loen, se foto. Landing utenfor etablert landing er ikke tillatt.
• Vindpølse er montert på Landing, følg også med på flagg/vimpler i området for å identifisere endring av vindretning. Vær obs på annen vindretning på landing enn i lufta.
• Unngå unødvendig trekk i eng, ta med utstyret til vegkanten for pakking.
• Det er ikke tillatt å campe på landing.

HØYDEBEGRENSING OG ANNEN LUFTTRAFIKK:
Høydebegrensning i området er 2591 m. (ref. Norway CTA 49).
Ved flyging mot sør og mot vest beveger en seg mot SOGN NE TIA med høgdebegrensing 1372. Detaljert luftromsinformasjon finn du via "Link til mer info".

Det er ofte helikoptertrafikk i området rundt Olden. Vær varsom og vis hensyn.
Viktige meldinger til pilotar vil bli gitt på VHF frekvens 154.175 MHz

Ta vare på deg selv, respekter reglene og ikke utsett deg selv eller andre for fare. Brudd på reglane vil medføre bortvising frå Loen Skylift og rapportering til Norges Luftsportforbund.

Hoven is a regulated airspace in accordance with the Norwegian "Safety system for hang gliding, paragliding and speed gliding NHB-E". A valid hang-gliding, para-gliding or speed-gliding certificate as well as accident and third-party insurance is mandatory when you fly in Norway.

BE CAUTIOUS - ON STRONG DAYS, THERE IS A ROTOR AT TAKEOFF. HIGH PROBABILITY OF LARGE COLLAPSES ON BOTH PARAGLIDERS AND SPEEDRIDERS. PLEASE TAKE CARE AND STAY WITHIN YOUR LIMITS.
TAKEOFF:
Main takeoff towards East - Southeast. Designed for airsports. Be cautious of rotor at takeoff; do not let go of toggles.
Alternative takeoff towards West at the helipad. Steep launch, minimum PP3/SPG3 required.
On thermal days, the marked launch “Vardestarten” is recommended; see the map.
IN THE AIR:
• Familiarize yourself with where the cables for the gondola are. Maintain a safe distance from cables, buildings, and installations.
• Flying under the cables and near the cabins is not allowed.
• Keep a safe distance from the via ferrata and the via ferrata bridge; flying under the bridge is prohibited. Do not disturb those climbing the via ferrata.
• Be considerate during top landings and ensure good clearance from the public. Landing on the roof of Hoven Restaurant and near installations or walkways where the public is present is not allowed.

LANDING:
• There is an established landing area in Loen; see photo. Landing outside of the designated area is not permitted.
• A wind sock is installed at the landing; also monitor flags/banners in the area to identify changes in wind direction. Be aware of differing wind conditions at landing compared to in the air.
• Avoid unnecessary trampeling in the field; take your equipment to the roadside for packing.
• Camping at the landing area is not allowed.

HEIGHT RESTRICTIONS AND OTHER AIR TRAFFIC: The height restriction in the area is 2591 m (ref. Norway CTA 49).
When flying south and west, you are approaching SOGN NE TIA with a height restriction of 1372. Detailed airspace information can be found via the "Link for more info."
There is often helicopter traffic in the area around Olden. Be cautious and show consideration.
Important messages to pilots will be communicated on VHF frequency 154.175 MHz.
Take care of yourself, respect the rules, and do not put yourself or others in danger. Violations of the rules will result in removal from Loen Skylift and reporting to the Norwegian Air Sports Federation.
